California born and bred, my name is Aleta, and I grew up surrounded by aging hippies and everything New Age from my earliest age. I observed my Mom, a solitary witch from before I was born, as she shuffled her tarot decks and confided in her guides with the nearest pendulum. I sat and listened as she spoke with family and friends about dreams and interpretations. I would sit with my own pendulum and practice on myself, and later on my own friends.

I wanted to know all the secrets; and honestly, still do.

Like a pendulum, I have swung back and forth throughout my life a fair bit, between the ancient ways (usually with a Hellenic leaning) and exclusively following Christ. Anymore lately, I have found calm and belonging in praying to and calling on whom I feel called, and focusing on the example set especially by their stories and lives, and what they represent.

In recent years I have focused on honing my skills and working holistically to help others find their answers. I don’t sugar coat, but I also don’t go out of my way to be a jerk or to have power over others. My goal is to serve Spirit by helping guide my siblings through this story called Life.
